Brown Bears can be remarkably common in the Russian Far East and there are places where, on a good day, it is possible to see upwards of twenty individuals in a day. This photo was taken at 'Bear Gully', a spot regularly visited by Heritage Expeditions which is located on the Pacific coast at the very northern end of Kamchatka.
