Humpback Whale
Although this 'whale tail' photo is certainly not the best I have ever taken, it is nevertheless extremely interesting as one can see that this young whale has lost both corners off its tail and there are deep scratches on the underside of its fluke. It seems highly likely that this individual was attacked by a pod of Orca (Killer Whales) but survived the encounter, albeit after clearly sustaining some physical damage.
